It's a Beautiful Day

at Bath and Body Works! 

I went to Bath and Body Works this weekend and picked up some things.  They were having a sale on lip glosses for $5 each, so I picked up two of the C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm.  It is a wonderful product.  They had a Facebook free offer for the new Beautiful Day fragrance EDT.  I picked up one of those with the coupon.  I also got several more because the sales associate said that they were ringing up buy 2 get 2 like the other signature collection items.  They were $3 each so, I picked up 8 more for only $12.

I have been using Winter scents for so long and I was getting tired of them, so I needed to pick up some new soaps in Spring scents.  I also picked up some new ones for the kitchen.  I got one in Sparkling Pink Champagne for around a $1 because it was on clearance from Winter.  I also picked up a couple of last year's Fresh Picked hand creams.  I got the Fresh Picked Apples and Pears for only $2 each.  I got the Honey Sweetheart Fine Fragrance Mist for free with a coupon (spend $10 get free item up to $14 free). 

I picked up three of the discontinued Citron cologne for a little over $4 each because they were on clearance.  My son loves that scent, so he asked me to buy him a few to last him a while.  The last item I purchased was the new Fresh Picked Tangerine Hard Working Hand & Body Cream.  This was free with a coupon, too.  It was free because the coupon was a spend $10 get a free item up to $14 free.  The hand and body cream was $8, so it fell within the parameters of the coupon.

Shopping at Bath and Body Works is always a great experience for me.  I always use coupons when shopping there and you should, too!  There is always a great deal to be had!  I will be going back this weekend because they are having a Spring Market Preview Event on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 1pm - 5pm.  You should all go and check it out.  They are giving a free gift with a home fragrance purchase while supplies last.  The free gift is a 4 oz candle in a cute little bag.

Bath and Body Works newest most luxurious scent, Forever Red (and one pocketbac in Winter Spice and Vanilla).  Forever Red is a wonderful scent.  It is hard for me to wear many perfumes because of my allergies, but this doesn't irritate me at all.  I love it!  It comes in numerous products such as:

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin

I purchased this several weeks ago, but never posted the pic or wrote any type of review of it.  Well, here I am posting about it, finally.  Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin of the Fall Traditions body care line at Bath and Body Works is not my favorite of all of the Fall Traditions line.  I do not hate it, but I prefer the Honey Autumn Apple and Dreamy Vanilla Woods scents.  I wanted to give Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin a try because I usually love pumpkin scents.  For instance, I love Bath and Body Works Creamy Pumpkin hand soap and all of their pumpkin scented candles: 

• Creamy Pumpkin
• Pumpkin Cupcake
• Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
• Pumpkin Carvings
• Caramel Pumpkin Latte

I think that the lotion (not pictured) smells a little to spicy for my taste, but I know there are plenty of people out there who love this scent.  They will buy it up and hold on until next year just in case it does not come back next fall. The shower gel and the fragrance mist are a little strong, but I could deal with the shower gel, but not in combination with the other products such as the fragrance spray, lotion, triple moisture cream or the creamy body scrub.  I will use what I purchased, but it is not a scent I could wear everyday.  If I do not use it, then I will gift it to one of my sisters.  They love receiving Bath and Body Works especially if it is FREE!  lol.

One last thing I would like to mention, I added the prices to each description.  You can buy these one at a time, but remember you will get a better deal and more for your money if you participate in one of their promotions which is B2G1 or B3G2.  Of course, the ones you purchase are the most expensive items of the 3 or 5 items you are purchasing.  For example, if you are purchasing 5 items (2 fine fragrance mists, 1 triple moisture cream, 1 shower gel, and 1 lotion), then you pay for the 2 fine fragrance mists and the triple moisture cream.  The shower gel and the lotion will be your free items because they are the lowest priced in the transaction.  You can, however; purchase 5 of the same more expensive items like 5 of the fine fragrance mists or 5 of the Creamy Body Scrubs and two of them will be your free items.  You mix them up anyway you like and they can be different scents as long as they are all part of the Signature Collection (not Aromatherpy or True Blue Spa).
