Today only (6/5/14), room sprays at Bath and Body Works are $3 in stores and online!  Also, I have received word that starting this weekend seasonal lines such as Provence, Hawaii and Sweet Shop (if your stores still have some) will be 50% off in the candles and soap forms.  This is only a few days before the SAS starts on Monday, June, 9th, 2014.  The SAS ususally starts a couple of days early online, so keep checking the Bath and Body Works website!

Look What's Returning for the Bath and Body Works SAS

Here is what is returning for the Bath and Body Works SAS that starts June 9, 2014.  Signature Collection returners are:  Dark Kiss, Cherry Blossom, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Forever Sunshine and Malibu Heat.  Home Fragrance returners are:  Sun Tan, Ice Cream Shop, White Sand, Summer Boardwalk, Salt Water Taffy and Beach Grass.  I think most people are excited for the return of Dark Kiss and Malibu Heat as far as the Signature Collection goes.  With regards to Home Fragrance, I personally am excited for Salt Water Taffy, but I really wish Root Beer Float was returning!  

I can't wait until the SAS not only for some of the returning products, but I love to get a deal on their season items and collections, as well.  I'll definitely be posting more about the SAS and my hauls once it starts!

Candle Sale at Bath and Body Works - 2 for $22

There is currently a sale on the 3-wick candles at Bath and Body Works.  They are currently 2 for $22.  If you have a survey coupon for $10 off of $30, then  you can get 3 for $23.  I just wanted to let you know in case you were not aware of the sale!  I believe the sale ends on 4/21, but that is subject to change as they always say in their emails.

Bath and Body Works - New Soaps, Oil Burner and Preview Lotion

I went to Bath and Body Works this past Monday and picked up a few items.  I really wanted to try their new hand soaps that are Triclosan free.  People have been asking for a non-antibacterial formula, and now they have one.  There are four new scents in this line:

 

Pear Chardonnay

Vanilla Maple Cream

Applewood Orchard

Sweet Plum Wine

I chose to purchase only two of them.  They are $9.50 each, and that is a little pricey for a hand soap, but they are definitely worth it.  The two that I chose are Pear Chardonnay and Vanilla Maple Cream. 

Pear Chardonnay is described on the Bath and Body Works website as follows:

I really like both scents.  The Pear Chardonnay is a very crisp, pear smelling scent.  The Vanilla Maple Cream is a very sweet, maple and vanilla scent.  Both fragrances are winners in my book.  The soaps are a gentle formula, and they didn't dry my hands out like some of the anti-bacterial hand soaps out there.  I would give these soaps two thumbs up!  They are fall fragrances, so I don't think they will be around forever, so go out and buy some!  Remember to use coupons to get more bang for your buck.  Check your receipts for the $10 off of $30 survey coupon.  It like buying two and getting one for free.  You have got to love free!

I also picked up two of their new preview lotions in Cashmere Glow.  This scent has a musky tone and I don't think it is best for me.  It states that it has a peach note, but I don't smell peach in it at all.  I know that everyone has a different nose, so go out and try it.  The Previews are only $1.  I do not believe that I will be purchasing the full ritual when it comes out because I like more fruity/sweet scents.  I think this one is too deep for me.  **UPDATE as of 9/20/12 - I was in a store and the previews are NOW $2 each!**

The last item that I purchased was a ceramic Owl oil burner to burn the Home Fragrance Oils (HFOs) that I purchase at Bath and Body Works.  I thought it was so cute, and I just had to have it!  Owls seem to be very popular this Fall.  I've seen them all over the place.  Anyway, I already have a couple of burners, but the ceramic ones that Bath and Body Works sells are pretty good and always put out enough heat to release the HFOs scent so that the whole house smells great!  Just as a side note, my favorite Fall HFOs are Cider Lane, Leaves and Marshmallow Fireside!  I actually really like most of the ones that they have out right now.  If you have not given them a try, then you should.  I think you will be very happy with your purchase!

I received the New Shea Enriched Shower Gel in the 2012 Latina VoxBox that was sent to me by Influenster (www.Influenster.com) earlier in August. I loved the product so much that I went out and bought a full sized bottle (original scent sent was Paris Amour, but bought the full size in Pink Chiffon (one of my favorite scents).  The product was complimentary to test and review.  The product information/review page on the Influenster website states the following about the Shea Enriched Shower Gel:   NEW & Improved! The Shea Enriched Shower Gel that was included in the Latina VoxBox was the 3oz bottle.  They also have a Full Sized 10oz bottle.  I appreciate the fact that it comes in travel size because it is easy to pack and go.   

Ok, enough of all of the formal descriptions.  I just want to let it be known that I am a Bath and Body Works Junkie!  I'm addicted to the place.  I love their body care and their home fragrance selections.  So, you can only imagine the joy and excitement that I felt when I opened up the Latina VoxBox for the first time!  I was elated!  I have used the old version of the shower gel, so I was able to make a comparison between the old and the new Shea Enriched version.  Let me tell you, the new one was much more bubbly, and the lather was awesome!  This new version literally makes me want to hop in the shower even when I really don't feel like it.  You don't have to use very much either to get that clean feeling.  It only takes about the size of a quarter.  Not only does it do a wonderful job of cleansing, it smells fantastic!  The scent fills the bathroom up for long after I'm finished showering.  This Shea Enriched shower gel does not leave a film or residue on your skin once you are out of the shower and dry!  The shower gel leaves your skin silky, smooth and soft!  I can't say enough great things about this product.  I just want to thank Bath and Body Works and Influenster for giving me the chance to review such a great product from a company that I already LOVE!  The pricing for this product is perfect especially since you can really get a lot of bang for your buck with coupons, receipt surveys for $10 off of $30 purchase and all of the ongoing sales.  I definitely recommend this new Shea Enriched Shower Gel to my family and friends.  I recommend all of the products at Bath and Body Works!

Bath & Body Works' True Blue Spa Mango Butter

I recently purchased the new line of True Blue Spa products named Mango Butter.  The line consists of 4 different products.  The products are 24 Hour Moisture Body Butter, Nourishing Shower Smoothie, Replenishing Body Lotion and the Nourishing Body Bar.  All of these products are fabulous.  They smell great and are very moisturizing.  I would highly recommend all four of the products, but my two favorites were the 24 Hour Moisture Body Butter and the Nourishing Body Bar.  The body butter really helped lock in the moisture on even the driest parts of my body such as my elbows and knees. I can't say enough about the performance of the Nourishing Body Bar in the shower. The lather was terrific, and it really left my skin silky and smooth. The smell was wonderful, as well.   Bath & Body Works usually has a sale on the True Blue Spa products such as the Buy 2 Get 1 free.  Sometimes, they will have the Buy 2 Get 2 free.  Those are the best times to purchase the True Blue Spa products, but if you don't want to wait for a specific sale, then I would say that these products are worth the regular price!
