Today only (6/5/14), room sprays at Bath and Body Works are $3 in stores and online!  Also, I have received word that starting this weekend seasonal lines such as Provence, Hawaii and Sweet Shop (if your stores still have some) will be 50% off in the candles and soap forms.  This is only a few days before the SAS starts on Monday, June, 9th, 2014.  The SAS ususally starts a couple of days early online, so keep checking the Bath and Body Works website!

Bath and Body Works SAS Coming to an End on 7-7-13

I just wanted to share some of my purchases during the Summer '13 Bath and Body Works Semi-Annual Sale (SAS).  All of the anti-bacterial soaps were $3 or less.  The Secret Wonderland items were all 75% off.  The Fresh Picked hand cream was $2.  The Wallflower Bulbs were $3 each.  The Aruba Coconut items were all 75% off.  The Fresh Picked Tangerine body wash were $4 each.  The Men's Citron items were 75% off.  The Fresh Picked Hard Working Hand and Body Cream were $4 each.  The True Blue Spa items were 50% off.  I got one Aromatherapy Lemon Zest body wash for $6.50 (I'm hoping they will go 75% off within the next couple of days before the end of the sale).  I found 5 of the tall white pedestal candle holders at 50% off.  I also got 3 of the short white pedestal candle holders for 50% off.  The 4 oz candles were 50% off.  I was lucky enough to find them in Summertime Soda and Dulce.  I would have loved to find the 3-wicks in those scents.  I got one Pizzeria mini candle just to have.  In my opinion, it smells horrible!  All of the 3 wick candles that I purchased were $10 each (they are regularly $20 each).  I bought some other ones that my family is already burning.  The seahorse nail file was 50% off.  The double pack Wallflower bulbs in Apple Crumble was $6.  I purchased two room sprays in Mahogany Teakwood and Lavender Vanilla at $2.50 each (regularly $5).  The pocketbacs that I purchased were $.75 to $1 each. 

I did purchase some other items during the sale like a variety of other Wallflowers, 3-wick candles, and body care items that are already in use.  If you ask me, then this particular SAS was not as good as ones in the past.  I heard that they are going to extend the SAS and make it into a Summertime Sale.  There will be a new floorset on July 8th and there are a bunch of new items coming out.  I can't wait to try some of the new products especially the Fall items.  The Fall is my favorite time of year, so that is when I really go crazy with candles and other home fragrance items.  You can check out the following blog for more info on coming Fall items.  The blogs title is Sincerely Kelley XOXO.  The blog's site address is www.sincerelykelleyxoxo.com  or just click the picture below!

Candle Sale at Bath and Body Works - 2 for $22

There is currently a sale on the 3-wick candles at Bath and Body Works.  They are currently 2 for $22.  If you have a survey coupon for $10 off of $30, then  you can get 3 for $23.  I just wanted to let you know in case you were not aware of the sale!  I believe the sale ends on 4/21, but that is subject to change as they always say in their emails.

Bath and Body Works Market Peach Candles

 

I went to Bath and Body Works last weekend and purchased some home fragrance items.  While there, I received two free Market Peach 4 oz. candles.  I bought the two candle holders that fit either the mini candles or the small 4 oz. candles.  They are really cute and made of bubble glass.  They were only $6.50 a piece, but I had a coupon and got a discount. 

 

While burning the candles this early morning, I decided that I really do like the candle holders.  They put off a wonderful ambiance.  The only thing about burning the candles that I don't like is that I can't smell a thing.  I was burning them in my living room which is a pretty good size.  They were burning pretty much right in front of me on the coffee table, but I couldn't smell them.  The only way that I got even a tiny bit of scent is if my nose was right over the flame.  I guess I won't be buying any of these 4 oz candles.  I have rarely had any luck with the 4 oz. candles from Bath and Body Works.  I usually purchase the 3-wicks, but since these were free, I thought I would give them a chance. 

 

You should go out and purchase some Bath and Body Works candles and try them for yourself.  I would recommend the 3 wicks, but you can try out the 4 oz. ones because you never know, you might have better luck.  Some of their stronger candles may put out more scent in the 4 oz., but it will be trial and error.

Bath and Body Works Spring Market Event

Here is a picture of my haul from the Bath and Body Works Spring Market Event that took place on Saturday, March 9, 2013.  If you purchased a home fragrance item, then you got a free 4 oz Market Peach candle as a free gift..  I did two transactions and received two free gifts. 

I bought two more of one of my favorite scents at Bath and Body Works.  Pineapple Orchid is an amazing scent!  If you have not tried it, then you really should.  It is sweet and beautiful!  This 3 wick candle also burns perfectly.  I have not had any problems with it tunnelling or with the flames.  You should definitely check this one out before it it is gone for the season.  I also purchased four of the the wallflower bulbs in the same scent.  I currently have this scent in three rooms throughout my home.  I'm surely addicted to this wonderful scent.  I picked up two candle holders which hold either the mini candles or the small 4 oz candles. 

The last items that I picked up were the Pink Chiffon hand creams.  I was waiting and waiting for these to show up in my local stores.  A friend of mine posted online that they purchased one on Friday evening, so that is one of the first things I looked for when I arrived at the store on Saturday.  One of the Sales Associates actually ran up to me and pulled one from her apron just in case by the time I showed up they were all gone.  She said that she knew I would show up sooner or later on Saturday.  I really love the scent.  It feels nice and smooth, but after a little while, my hands were itching like crazy.  I don't know if it was a one time thing or not, but I'm going to try it again on another day to see what my reaction is.  I hope that it doesn't make me itch like that again because I will have to return them.

Overall, I had a great shopping experience.  All of the SAs and the manager were so kind and helpful like usual.  My store didn't hand out free samples like some other stores did, but maybe, they will hand some out at future events.  I used two survey coupons for $10 off of $30, and got the two free gifts, so that made me happy!

My Haul from the $8 3-wick Sale at Bath and Body Works

I wanted to share my wonderful haul with all of you.  Bath and Body Works had a one day only Deal of the Day on Friday, Dec. 4, 2012.  The 3-wicks were only $8.  Of course, I used some of my $10 off of $30 purchase coupons.  So, I essentially got 4 3-wicks for around $22.  I did separate transactions so I could use 5 of the coupons.  I am actually burning one of the candles already so that is why one would be missing from the picture.  I also purchased 4 of the 4oz candles only because I really needed those particular scents for gifts.  I would usually only purchase them if they were on sale, but sometimes you have to make exceptions.  I hope that some of you were able to hit up the sale and purchase some of your favorite Winter scents.  I just love all of the sales that they have been having.

The Deal of the Day for Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 is going to be $3 room sprays.  Their room sprays are really nice and you only have to  use like 1 or 2 sprays because they are concentrated.  They have a lot of scents to choose from, but you might want to go early because I'm sure they will sell most of them as they have with all of their other Deals of the Day.  That candle sale really wiped them out.  And yesterday, Saturday, Dec. 14, 2012 their Deal of the Day was $5 TMCs (body creams) and when I went to my local store, they had sold out of all of the Holiday Traditions scents.  I was a little bummed, but oh well.  First come first serve.  They said they might have some more for the Semi-Annual Sale (SAS) that starts on Dec. 26, 2012.

A couple of new holiday items from Bath & Body Works

The first item I purchased was the 3 pack gift set of I Love Twisted Peppermint lip glosses.  The first one is Twisted Peppermint, the second one is Twisted Berry and the third one is Twisted Cocoa.  The cost of this gift set is $18.  Since I purchased something with a value of at least $15, I was then able to use my get an item Free up to $13 with $15 purchase coupon.  I used it to get the Aromatherapy Energy Lemon Zest body wash (value $13).  I then purchased three 3-wick candles in three new scents for Winter.  The three scents are:

Cranberry Pear Bellini 3-wick Candle

My absolute favorite winter fragrance is Cranberry Pear Bellini!  Luckily, there have been several 2 for $20 candle sales at Bath and Body Works within the last month or so.  This scent is amazing!  If you have not tried it, then you really should sometime!  It is considered a Winter scent at Bath and Body Works.  This year they have it in the 3-wick candle, 4oz candle, mini candle, wallflower bulb, concentrated room spray (CSR) and home fragrance oil (HFO).  This scent will go fast because there area many many people who love it!  I burned the 3-wick candle this past week, and it burned beautifully!  The wicks were very nice and sturdy.  The wax pool formed quickly, and it was nice and even!   I recommend this candle to all!

Some new candles have become available in regular Bath and Body Works stores in my area.  I was out shopping during the weekend that they had the Mix & Match B2G1, and came across some new candle scents.  I had to get three of them to start, and will be buying some more this weekend during their 2 for $20 3-wick candle sale.  Below is a picture of the 3 new scents that I purchased:

Peppermint Mocha is a really good scent.  I think it is more of a hot chocolate smell (like last year's Hot Chocolate scent candle) with a hint of peppermint.  Cranberry Pear Bellini is one of my all time favorite Winter scents.  I love it.  It smells the same this season and is also available in a concentrated room spray (CRS) and a home fragrance oil (HFO).  I can't wait to get those two items.  Sparkling Icicles is a very nice smell.  It is kind of a light cologne smell to me.  This candle is a lot like the candle that was out during the Spring called Paris Daydream.  I would recommend all three of the candles!

Candle Addiction

I am addicted to the Bath and Body Works candles.  I wanted a few more Fall scents so I went to a couple of stores to find these (this was last weekend on Oct. 21st) .  Mostly all of the Fall candles are sold out in stores and I prefer not to order candles from online.  I purchased the one of the 3-wick Pumpkin Caramel Latte and two of the Creamy Pumpkin.  The 4oz candles were 2 for $10 the day I purchased these and I bought two 4oz Leaves scented candles.  I was able to get a free item up to $13 with any $10 purchase, so I got a free Aromatherapy Stress Relief Eucalyptus Tea body lotion.  It is one of their newer scents so I decided to get it to give as a gift during the holidays.  I also picked up two pocketbacs that were on sale for 50% off.

My favorite scent out of all of these is definitely Marshmallow Fireside.  It is an amazing sweet marshmallow scent, but you can also smell the fire like when you are make a smore!  My household really enjoys it.  I stocked up and will buy more when they are 2 for $20 in stores again.  That is the best time to purchase them to get more for your money.  If you use a survey coupon during this sale, then you can get 3 for $20 because the survey coupon takes $10 off of a $30 purchase.

1st Haul of Last Weekend

During the last 2 for $20 sale at Bath and Body Works, I made a few purchases.  They had some new Concentrated Room Sprays (CRS) in that are from their new Winter line.  The ones I got were Tis the Season and Twisted Peppermint.  The Concentrated Room Sprays from Bath and Body Works are very strong and they last for quite a while.  Here is the description for the two that I purchased:

I also purchased three new lip glosses using the Buy 2 Get 1 Free.  They numerous new lip glosses for sale, but most of them are the ones with the tip applicator.  They did have some with a wand applicator.  I have wanting to get some of those from Bath and Body Works for some time, so I decided to get two of the new wand applicator lip glosses.  My third one was just one of the ones that has the tip applicator.  The names of the ones that I purchased are Dazzle - licious Ice Crystals - Crystal Fig, Dazzle - licious Ice Crystals - Frosted Grape and Liplicious Sugared Pomegranate. The wand applicator lip glosses are regularly $10.50 each and the other type of applicator is $8.00 each, but I do the Buy 2 Get 1 Free.  I really like the lip glosses from Bath and Body Works.  They are not too goopy or gloppy.  They go on nicely and really have a great shine.  They taste wonderful, too! 

The last three items I purchased were three 3-wick candles (using the 2 for $20 and a survey coupon to take $10 off $30 purchase, so I added one more 3-wick candle, and only paid $20 for 3.  The scents that I purchased were:

I have not burned Winter or Plum Wine Amber before, but I have burned the Aromatherapy Stress Relief - Eucalyptus Spearmint before.  It really is calming and helps you relax.  I truly believe in these candles.  I am going to wait  until it get cold to burn the Winter candle and the Plum Wine Amber will be burned soon.  I hope I like it!  I've heard really good things about it.  People have said that it has a great throw, forms a great wax pool and has nice, high flames!  I can't wait to give it a try!

Hello all!  I wanted to let you all know that Bath and Body Works is having another 2 for $20 3-wick candle sale this weekend.  It started today (Oct. 11, 2012) and it goes through Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.  I had a survey coupon for $10 off $30 purchase, so I got 3 3-wick candles for $20.  I love these sales and it has come at a great time because they just started releasing their Winter/Christmas products in store.  I know "Test" stores have had these items out for a while, but there are not "Test" stores near me.  The three candles I purchased and their descriptions from the Bath and Body Works Website are:

I really like all of these new candles.  I think the one I am looking forward to burning the most is the Snowed In candle.  I have read a lot of good things about it and seen video reviews on YouTube.  Once I have burned it, I will let you all know how it burned and how the throw was.  The Hot Buttered Rum candle is really for my husband.  He wanted one about a week ago, but I told him I would wait for another 2 for $20 sale because I really do not want to pay $20 for one candle. 

Also pictured are two of the new Forever Red preview Eau de Parfums.  They are going to be $10 each, but since they have just released the previews online (about a week ago) and in-store today (Oct. 11, 2011), they are only $5 each.  I was lucky enough to receive a test bottle over a month ago so that I could test it and give feedback.  They also gave test bottles out to influential customers so that they could help spread the word about it and get it hyped up so that there would be much anticipation.

I personally really love this scent.  It is usually hard for me to wear a lot of different perfumes because of my allergies, but this scent does not irritate me in the least bit.  I was really happy about that when I first tested it.  I smell a lot of the "Velvety Marshmallow" and the "Luminous Apple".  It is a very nice scent.  I think people will be surprised just how good it smells and hopefully, it will do well once the full line comes out so that it will be on the shelves of Bath and Body Works for a long time!

Last but not least, I got another free, full-sized Stress Relief Aromatherapy - Eucalyptus Tea body wash for free!  I got it free because I had a coupon for spend $10 and get a free body care item up to $13.  My $10 purchase was the 2 preview Forever Red Eau de Parfum.  They were $5 each as stated above, and the Eucalyptus Tea body wash was $13 so it falls within the parameters of the coupon.

Remember, on regular days (non Black Friday), you can only use one coupon per transaction (unless they came together in a mailer, then you can use those together).  So, I had to do two transactions to use the survey coupon for $10 off  $30, and the spend $10 transaction to get the free item up to $13.

Fall Festival at White Barn Farms - Bath and Body Works - Sept. 15, 2012

I went to the Bath and Body Works Fall Fest party on Saturday.  The hours of the party were from 1pm to 5pm.  I got there at about a quarter til 2pm.  It was packed in there, and I could barely look around.  The first thing I noticed was that they had different stations around the store for the customer to interact with the Sales Associates (SA).  You could sign up for a raffle, listen to some creative ideas to decorate your table for Fall with cleaned out 3-wick candles, the scentportables and candle sleeves.  They were cute ideas, but I don't think I will be using any of them.  Anway, I looked around the store and knew I needed to buy at least one home fragrance item in order to get the free 4oz candle and little drawstring bag.  I also had a coupon that was for spend $10 and get a free item of your choice up to $13.  I also had another coupon for a percentage off a purchase. 

In order to get my full discounts and free items, I purchased the following:

1st purchase - I purchased another Cider Lane concentrated room spray and a Cider Lane home fragrance oil for $10.  I got another owl medium candle luminary for free (cost is $12.50 without coupon).  I had to get another one because the previous one I purchased had a crack in it. 

2nd purchase - I purchased 6 3-wick candles.  They were buy 2 for $20 and every one after the first two are $10.  I used a percentage off coupon and got what would cost around $180 at regular price for right under $40.  With this purchase, I got the free 4oz Pumpkin Carvings candle and drawstring bag.  The candles that I purchased were:

• Cinnamon Sugared Donut
• Pumpkin Caramel Latte
• Cider Lane
• Leaves
• Brandied Pear
• Mahogany Teakwood

3rd Purchase - I went back to the store to purchase 3 more 3-wick candles in hopes that I could still get a free 4oz Pumpkin Carvings candle and the little drawstring bag.  Well, I bought the candles that were 2 for $20.  I got 3 for $30 since after the first two the price is $10 for any additional ones you get.  I used a survey coupon for $10 off $30 purchase.  So, I paid just over $20 for the 3 candles that I bought.  Unfortunately, they were all out of the free 4oz candle and bags.  I was a little bummed, but at least, I had gotten one earlier in the day.  The 3 candles that I purchased were:

• Cider Lane
• Pumpkin Cupcake
• Lavendar Vanilla

I am pretty much addicted to the the 3-wick candles that Bath and Body Works sells.  It is a good think that I don't live near any of the Test Stores that are out there because they are always getting in new scents that don't always go to all of the stores, and I would want to buy them all!  I have many Bath and Body Works fan friends that I know online through FB, and they are always purchasing the new test scents.  They post pictures so that everyone can see what the candles look like, and they write great descriptions of them so everyone else can get a feel for what they smell like. 

The new Cashmere Glow signature scent was also for sale in stores at the party, but I personally do  not like the scent.  It is way to musky for me, and I am sure it would give me a headache and make me feel ill.  For that reason, I will not be purchasing it!  But I am still looking forward to the Forever Red launch!  I look forward to the new event that Bath and Body Works has planned! 



2 for $20 Bath and Body Works 3-wick Candles!

I'm just writing a quick entry to let anyone that comes across this post that the 3-wick candles at Bath and Body Works (in stores and online) are 2 for $20 starting today through 11:59pm on Sept. 23, 2012.  Remember, if you have a survey coupon which comes on the bottom of a receipt, then use it for $10 off of $30, and you can get 3 3-wick candles for $20.  That is a great deal because the candles are normally $19.50 (some labels now say $20.00).  Some of my fall favorites are:

• Cider Lane (It is new this year, but smells kinda like Caramel Apple from years past)
• Pumpkin Caramel Latte (My son swears it smells like pancake syrup, not sure about that, but it is sweet smelling.)
• Leaves (I think both White Barn and Slatkin brand are supposed to be the same scent, but I prefer the White Barn brand for some reason.)
• Marshmallow Fireside (It smells like cooking a smore over a fire, but without the chocolate smell.  It is a very nice scent.)
• Mahogany Teakwood (It smells like a nice, men's cologne to me and my family.  My son thinks it smells like the Abercrombie & Fitch store.)

Go out and smell some, and let me know what you think.  And just for the record, if you can't get to a store for this sale, you can order over the phone.  The store will ship it to you for a $6 flat shipping fee.  That is an extra bonus that some people don't know about Bath and Body Works stores.

Also, call your local Bath and Body Works store to find out if they are participating in the in the Fall Festival in store party from 1pm - 5pm on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.  They will be offering a free gift with any home fragrance purchase.  The gift is a 4oz Pumpkin Carvings candle that is exclusive to the party (although I have seen that some people were able to purchase a 3-wick in this scent at test stores) and a drawstring bag that it fits in.  Pumpkin Carvings is supposed to be the same scent as Pumpkin Patch (I don't know for sure though). Remember to get there early because stores have been known to run out of free gifts before the end of the party hours.
